There is no fee to host a video lecture on Uplyrn and you can publish as many video lectures as you like.
We believe in a long-term relationship where we not only help you get started but also grow as an online video training lecturer.
Following are the revenue shares for video lecturers on Uplyrn:
Organic Sales
Learn-On-Demand
50% revenue share on organic Uplyrn sales. Uplyrn and the Video Lecturer share equally on these sales, which might occur after a user navigates the Uplyrn marketplace for video courses and makes a purchase.
Subscription Plan
Students pay an annual fee for a membership which includes full access to all available video content on Uplyrn. Each month, 40% of the total membership revenue goes to a subscription pool for video lecturers. Video Lecturers are paid from the subscription pool based on their share of the paid minutes watched by students across the platform each month.
To receive your monthly payout:
1. You must get paid minutes watched across all of your video lectures within a month in order to receive a payment for that month.
2. Trailer minutes do not count toward payments as all course trailers are available to watch for free.
Paid User Acquisition Channel Sales
25% lecturer revenue share. In order to optimize your sales, we collaborate with affiliates across our networks or pay for advertising to drive traffic to our website.
Following are the revenue shares for Experts on Uplyrn:
Organic Sales
70% of revenue for organic virtual class purchases and coaching sessions.
Paid User Acquisition Channel Sales
50% revenue share for virtual class purchases and coaching sessions.
Do note that the above stated revenue shares are based on net revenue - Sales on the Uplyrn iOS and Android apps are subjected to a 30% fee of the total sale charged by Apple and Google respectively.
